New Airplanes Everywhere: A Pilot’s Dream
Just like with MSFS 2020, MSFS 2024 will offer multiple editions with varying levels of content: Standard, Deluxe, Premium Deluxe, and Aviator. Even the Standard edition is packed with 30 new aircraft, including helicopters, personal VTOLs, hot air balloons, and more. If you go for the high-end Aviator edition, you’ll get a massive 125 new aircraft and 160 new airports. Plus, all versions come with upgraded models of the aircraft and airports from MSFS 2020.
One of my personal favorites, the A-10 Warthog, is included in the Standard edition. I spent some time flying it out of its home base at Davis-Monthan AFB in Tucson, Arizona, and I was blown away by how well it handles. The attention to detail is incredible, especially when flying over Davis-Monthan’s iconic aircraft boneyard, a sprawling resting place for decommissioned planes.
